Barbara A. Lambie

Barbara Lambie born August 17, 1958, formerly from Peoria, Illinois, passed away on February 19,2025. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Hudson, Fl surrounded by family and close friends.
Barbara was a cosmetologist that owned her own salon at one point. She throughly enjoyed doing hair and the relationships she built through her work.
Barbara was a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. Whether it was cheering them on or being a shoulder to cry on, she was always there when needed.
She was preceded in death by her parents (Gordon and JoAnn Wright), husband (Russell Lambie) and three sisters (Tara Richmond, Susie Evans, and Cathy Polluck). 

Barbara is survived by her three children, Zachary (Kim), Brandi (David) and Jennifer (Chad), her grandchildren Jayden, Rebecca, Stephen, Gabriella, Hunter, Austyn, Paris and Evan, as well as siblings Molly (Charlie) Tharp, Kelly (Joey) Grasso, Joe Wright, Phil Wright, Bernie (Shelia) Wright, and Tommy(Laurie) Wright, along with many nieces and nephews.

Known for her smile and large personality she lit up the room and always enjoyed life to the fullest. Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.

A morning Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bartonville, Illinois on Saturday March 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM, with the celebration of life to follow at the Pekin Moose Lodge from 12:00 - 3:00 PM.
