Gregory ‘Greg’ B. Jackman November 12, 1962 - April 16, 2025 62 Years Old Gregory ‘Greg’ Jackman of Hudson, Florida, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Greg was born November 12, 1962 in Highland Park, Michigan to Brent E. Jackman and Patricia Ann Eberhart Jackman. Greg was the eldest of three children; his sister, Jane Jackman and brother Ray Jackman (deceased). Greg grew up in the Highland Park and West Bloomfield areas and was a graduate of Walled Lake Central High School. He played in a local band ‘Last Kall’ , where he was the lead singer. Their band played at local and Detroit area clubs. He later owned his own stone mason business before moving to Florida. Greg continued his masonry trade until he changed careers to retail management for Dollar General. He later moved to Indiana and continued work in retail management at Tractor Supply in Indianapolis and then moving back to Florida and worked retail management at Rural King in Bonita Springs and Verizon and Walmart in the Labelle area. He would later move to the Tampa area, where he then retired early for medical. Greg loved music, some country and metal, but mostly Rock & Roll. He enjoyed attending concerts and being outdoors. He loved to go fishing, boating, and camping. He was a huge NASCAR fan and was able to attend many racetracks to watch the races live; Daytona, Talladega, Homestead, Michigan, Brickyard, and Charlotte. Greg enjoyed traveling in his camper with his wife and dog, Peyton. Greg was proceeded in death by both his parents and his brother, Ray. Greg is survived by his sister, Jane Jackman (Gary), his wife, Tami Jackman, his son, Brendan Jackman (fiancé Tiffany Tipton), Paul Tyree, and Lauren Sage Hyatt (Justin). His step-children; Katie Freed (Jaron), Matthew Wolsiefer (Jami), and John Wolsiefer. His grandchildren; Isaiah, Cameron, Bayli, Cooper, Leni, and Riley. Greg never met a stranger and was friendly to everyone he met. He loved seeing people smiling and having a good time. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date for both Florida and Michigan
