JoAnn J. Bart left this earth and became an angel on November 3, 2020, after a very brief battle of Pancreatic Cancer. She was taken from us too soon and way too quickly. She was 74 years old. JoAnn was a loving wife to Walter (Wally) J. Bart Sr., and the proud mother of 2 children, Walter(Wally) Bart, Jr. and Cecelia (Cece) Revay. She was a loving grandmother (Nana) to 5 beautiful grandchildren, John Bart, Jared Revay, Lyliane Bart, Blake Revay, and Madeleine Bart. And all her children and grandchildren were proud to call her Mom or Nana. JoAnn was known to feed lots of neighborhood children at her home as everyone was welcome there. She was manager of many retail establishments over the years and as manager became a mom/friend to many more people. JoAnn lover her many convertibles she had whether it was a speedy Miata or powerful BMV convertible. JoAnn was always caught either crocheting, cross-stitching, or doing some sort of craft. Her last crocheted project was to make many crocheted ear savers for KN-95 masks for her daughter and her co-workers/doctors in a medical office in Maryland.
JoAnn is survived by husband Wally, her two children, and five grandchildren. While we all grieve her loss, we are choosing to remember JoAnn every day. Due to COVID-19 and the Pandemic we are not having any formal funeral as we do not want to risk anyone’s health by traveling in this trying time. While we all grieve her loss, we hope to remember JoAnn everyday with memories you all share with us on this obituary. Once the Pandemic is over, we may decide to celebrate her life with a formal celebration, but definite plans have not been made.
