Judith Mae DeNicola, 84 of Port Richey Florida passed away peacefully on July 4, 2024.
She was born in 1940 to parents Carl and June Daugherty. Judy resided in Michigan where she attended nursing school and later moved to Illinois, where she began raising her family. She moved to the Port Richey area in the 1970’s where she set roots for her children and became a generous member of the community.
Judy owned and operated St. Francis Catholic Book Store and many of her customers became lifelong friends. Her kindness was known by all and she was steadfast in her service to those in need. The partnership Judy formed with a nearby restaurant to feed those in need is just one example of this servitude. As a longstanding member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Hudson Florida, Judith devotionally operated St. Michaels Gift Shoppe. There, she found dear friendships that flowed into weekly game nights at home. She is remembered fondly as mother, grandmother, and friend who was consistently gracious in all she did.
Judith was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is predeceased by her husband Salvatore DeNicola. Her children are David McDonald of New Orleans LA, predeceased by her son John McDonald, Susan Thomas (Paul) of Longwood FL. Michael McDonald of Port Richey Fl. Grandchildren Sean McDonald, Ana McDonald, Coleen Arcari, (John), Christine Thomas, Judith Thomas, Michael McDonald (Caitlyn), Michael DeNicola, Thomas DeNicola, Gregory Hoskins, Alexander Hoskins. Great Grandchildren Braelynn Arcari, Giulia Arcari, Luca Arcari, Kendall Thomas, John McDonald, Amelia McDonald. Sister, June Stewart of Flower Mound Tx. Many loving Nieces and Nephew.
