Milly L. Serre

Milly L. Sterre, formerly of Clearwater and currently in Hudson, passed away on August 7, 2023. Milly resided at her home in Ponderosa Mobile Home Park until 2022 when she moved in with her daughter Brenda.

Milly was born in Portage, Ohio on February 2, 1933 and moved to Florida at the age of 11. She was a devout Christian who was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family brought her the most joy.

Milly had many interest's which included following the Tampa Bay Rays, quilting, cross stitch, MahJong, playing cards and dancing. She loved baking and especially baking cut-out cookies for the great grandchildren for all occasions.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Serre, her son Troy Carter Jr. and is survived by her children, Gary Swendsen and Brenda Pesce (Gerard). She had 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandcildren.

Her funeral service will be held at Prevatt Funeral Home, Hudson, on Sunday. August 13, 2023 at 12:00pm with burial at Sylvan Abby Cemetary in Clearwater.
