Violet A. Guerrera (Decarmine), 96, of Hudson, passed away on May 6, 2022. Violet was born on October 3, 1925 to the late Anthony and Molly Decarmine (Imperatore) in Brooklyn, New York. At an early age, she moved to South Ozone Park, Queens, New York, where she grew up. She was the youngest of 11 children. She married the love of her life, Salvatore Guerrera in November 1953 and moved to Waterbury, Connecticut. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage and raised three loving children together. In 1980, she moved to Port Richey, FL She was pre-deceased by her parents, husband and her siblings. She is survived by her son, Robert (Joyce), daughters, Donna Garguilo (Anthony), Karen Gerardi, grandsons Steven, John (Yvette), Anthony, Christopher and Matthew, great granddaughter Ivy Gerardi, and several nieces and nephews.
Her life will be celebrated at a mass at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 8014 St. Road 52, Hudson FL 34667 on Friday, June 10 at 11:00. A private family internment will take place later that day at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
