Frederick A Burbank passed on July 26th after battling an illness these last few weeks. Ricky/Fred was born in Pittsfield, MA to Eleanor (Gladu) and Maurice Burbank. Attended Lanesboro Elementary School and Mt. Greylock High School where he graduated in 1970. He was born in Pittsfield, MA the youngest of 5 children and grew up in Lanesboro loving the country life helping at a local farm with the horses and swimming in the pond. He started working at 12 years old and found his love for automobiles. He had many years of working for Billy's Trucking and working for his friend Rudy until he landed a job at General Electric were he worked for 29 years. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing, having a cigar once in a while and playing cards with friends. He was a true friend to all who met him and was as strong as an ox. He has also battled rheumatoid arthritis for the last 45 years but he never let it define him and he was a walking miracle as the drs would say. He was a loving husband to Marie for the last 42 years, amazing father to Gina Lounello (Rensselaer, NY), Marie Kramer (Rensselaer, NY), William Kramer (Castleton, NY) and Eleanor Norville (Jeremy) (Colona, IL). Loving Grandfather to his 14 grandchildren: Biagina, Justin, Christopher, Kayla, James, Leaha, Brandon, Ava, Jerika, Rachelyn, Jovani, Anthony, Mackenzie and Lainey and his 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Gail Vallone-Key (Pelican Rapids, MN) and 3 other siblings and several nieces and nephews. He was a faithful parishioner of Praise Family Worship Center. He is predeceased by his parents Maurice and Eleanor Burbank. A celebration of life will be held for him at a later date in NY and in FL.
